NY Fashion Week- MARCHESA SPRING 2012 RTW

For their first runway show in five years , Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig add a dose of reality to their Spring 2012 collection, which was a great move. After seeing the froths of tulle and lace for so many seasons it gets old after a while.
Some of the standouts in this collection are the beautiful vintage looking gowns, with macrame details in simple hues of white or metallic silver. Marchesa manages to create that jaw dropping glamour and meticullous detail to their dresses while being slightly more understated, and it's totally working.
