Juma

Toronto designers, Alia Juma (Design Director) and Jamil Juma (Creative Director), are the brother and sister creators of Juma. Using using their own digital prints inspired by art and travel, they have created some of the most unique and inspiring pieces of clothing I have ever seen. Normally I'm not a huge fan of prints, but when I came across this red flamingo print tank top I could not resist buying it. I love how vibrant the pink and red colours are, it really is wearable art. Juma also makes mens clothing and gorgeous silk scarves.

Recently, a JUMA shop at Eva was opened in the Bowery district in New York City, an area known famously known for cutting edge fashion, music and street culture. They are also selling in Hong Kong at Harvey Nichols ( and ps- if you love to shop you must visit Hong Kong, it is one of the most amazing cities in the world!)

Juma have been featured in many publications including the Toronto Star, New York Magazine, Elle Canada, Flare, Fashion Magazine, Sportswear International, National Post, as well as Fashion Television, Etalk and Life Network. Juma is available at AtoZane (1040 Queen St. W.; 416-803-7754; http://www.a2zane.com), and check out their website here, at Jumastudio.
